Summary

Zen Kids Care is seeking a dependable Cook to support our licensed childcare center in Everett for a 3-month contract. This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for young children in a structured, regulated environment following Washington State DCYF childcare licensing standards.

This is a fast-paced, schedule-driven kitchen where meal timing, food safety, and allergen control directly impact daily childcare operations. We are looking for someone who can consistently follow procedures, maintain strict sanitation standards, and ensure safe, reliable meal service for children.

Duties

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged, school age children
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready daily
• Track basic inventory and communicate supply needs
