Summary
Trinity Presbyterian Preschool is seeking a part time financial and administrative assistant to perform clerical and financial tasks. This job is Monday-Friday, 8:15am-12:15pm.
Duties
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents for the preschool program
- Ensure all state mandated student documents are complete and on file in the office
- Maintain and update student files
- Maintain student immunization records
- Copy material for the office staff and teachers
- Answer phone and check daily phone and email messages
- Secure information by completing data based back ups
- Assist with morning and afternoon carpool
- Be a team player who establishes positive, respectful and professional relationships with students, parents, colleagues and visitors
- Maintain good personal hygiene
- Continue professional growth by attending early childhood trainings and monthly staff meetings
Financial Responsibilities:
- Maintain staff payroll and accompanying records
- Prepare monthly financial report
- Bill and collect student tuition payments
- Record and pay taxes
- Pay invoices
- Maintain financial investments
- Attend monthly Preschool Board meetings
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and filing quarterly, federal, state and local taxes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Pass state background requirements
- Follow Kentucky state regulations and Trinity Presbyterian Church policies
