Lead Teacher – Pre-K (4-Year-Old Class)

Position Overview

TOBschool is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Teacher for our 4-year-old Pre-K classroom. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children’s curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.

Duties

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with TOBschool’s inquiry-based curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports each child’s developmental needs
• Guide children’s learning through play, exploration, and structured activities
• Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior with consistency and care
• Conduct ongoing observations and assessments of student progress
• Maintain open and professional communication with families through daily updates and conferences
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and school leadership to maintain high-quality programming

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with 4-year-old children
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for early childhood education and child-centered learning
• Montessori experience (preferred)

• Salary: $4,000 per month
