Duties
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Toddler Teacher for our 2's & 3’s classroom who enjoys helping little ones explore, learn, and grow during this important stage of development. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about nurturing young children while creating a joyful and structured classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth
- Incorporate faith-based songs, stories, and simple biblical truths into daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child in your care
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching in a daycare setting (required)
- Ability to plan and implement lesson plans aligned with TN ELDS
- A heart for ministry and a genuine love for children
- Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset as we grow and refine our processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
Salary : $15 to $17/Hr
