GA Pre-K Lead Teacher Aug2026 in Lawrenceville, GA

Summary

We are looking for experienced and dependable teachers who have a passion for children to join our Georgia Pre-K Team for the 2026 school year.

We are seeking a certified teachers with the right education credentials and qualifications to fill the Lead Teacher role.

Experience in GA Pre-K is a must.

This a full-time position (Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM) and we follow the County School calendar.

Compensation is competitive and based on the Georgia Pre-K salary schedule. For the Lead Teacher, salary is dependent on credential levels.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Duties

• Working as a team with the AssistantTeacher and school management is a must.
• Candidates will be required to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Candidates must be able provide active and constant supervision to the children in the classroom, during meals and snacks and on the playground.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and adhere to the state childcare health and safety regulations.
• Be reliable. Arrive on time for work and be ready to meet each day with a positive attitude.
• Participate in required state childcare trainings, required Georgia Pre-K trainings, professional development and staff meetings.
• Candidates must be able to lift at least thirty (30) pounds and sit on the floor with children.

Requirements

Candidates should have advanced knowledge of teaching as a Lead in a Pre-K or Preschool classroom, including but not limited to writing and executing curriculum, leading large and small group activities, facilitating free play activities.

A minimum credential of a masters or bachelor’s degree in education and certified credentials to be a GA PreK lead.

Education:

• Masters/ Bachelors degree in education, ECE or equivalent (Required)
• GA Certification (Required)
• CPR and Fire safety Certification (Required )
