The Summer Fun Instructor is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children during the summer program. This role focuses on hands-on learning, creative exploration, and age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
Assist with implementing weekly themed activities including arts and crafts, music, movement, and outdoor play
Create age-appropriate STEM activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times
Supervise children and ensure their safety during all indoor and outdoor activities
Monitor and actively supervise children during field trips, ensuring safety, engagement, and adherence to program expectations
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging kindness, cooperation, and independence
Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children’s progress and daily activities
Follow all licensing regulations and center policies
At least one year experience working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Energetic, creative, and patient personality
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Reliable Transportation
First Aid/CPR Certificate- If not, we will train
