About Us:

Talented and Gifted Academy (TAG Academy) is a premier early childhood education center dedicated to building strong literacy foundations, character, and individualized learning experiences. We serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Position Overview:

TAG Academy is seeking dependable, professional Substitute Teachers to provide high-quality classroom coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, safety, and excellence when lead teachers are absent.

Duties

• Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Follow lesson plans and daily schedules provided by the lead teacher
• Supervise children at all times and ensure their well-being
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, transitions, and activities
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership
• Uphold TAG Academy’s standards of professionalism and care
• Restock teaching materials or supplies.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of childcare or classroom experience
• Current Pediatric CPR Certification
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to last-minute coverage needs
• Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
