Lead Preschool teacher in Pullman, WA

Our lead preschool teacher is responsible for 10, 3–4-year old’s and implementing a pre-planned early learning curriculum. Activities include Arts and Crafts, Math, reading, and social emotional growth. We are looking for a caring individual with great organizational and communication skills to join our team

Duties

• Responsible for implementing a curriculum that aids in the development and growth of our children, Observe and assess children throughout the year and communicate with families to set goals and share any concerns.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Provide effective supervision to children during indoor and outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning.
• Serve meals and monitor children during mealtimes
• Keep parents up to date using our classroom reporting app throughout the day.
• ·Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
•  Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma/GED required
• Recent Childcare experience
• 30 hour basic Childcare training
• Current CDA or Early Childhood College Credentials. We are willing to train the right team member
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications or are willing to obtain prior to start date.
• Ability to pass background check
• Negative TB Test results Upon hiring
• All employees at a licensed childcare facility must be fully vaccinated by 10/18/2021, have a medical exemption, or a religious exemption (please mention this exemption when applying so we can talk thoroughly).
