Teacher Aide/Teacher Float in Wiggins, CO

Summary

We are looking for a fun, energetic, and team-oriented person to fill a teacher aide position full time/part time. We are a small early childhood center offering childcare for children 6 weeks old to 12 years old. This position is temporary for the summer but may offer permanent position once the school year starts for the right person. You do not have to have any qualifications for this position, however ECE experience is a plus along with any ECE qualifications. We will train you and lead you in the best direction we can to growth within our center.

Duties

• Help lead teachers on curriculum plans
• Cleaning duties for classroom and center
• Creating positive and healthy interactions and relationships with young children throughout the day
• Creating positive and healthy relationships with parents and families
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• ECE experience is a plus
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents)
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
