Summary
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support our 4-year-old classroom. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a nurturing, values-centered preschool environment.
Duties
- Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities
- Help create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Assist with classroom management, transitions, and student supervision
- Collaborate with staff and contribute to a positive team environment
- Attend all staff meetings
- Support a classroom culture rooted in kindness, respect, and age-appropriate faith-based values
Requirements
- Background check through BCIS
- Completion of Virtus training upon hire
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Medication Administration certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Appreciation for working in a faith-based school environment that incorporates Christian values into the curriculum
- CDA or Associates Degree in ECE or similar
