We’re looking for a dedicated Infant and Toddler Teacher (K1 & K2) to join our nurturing and collaborative team. In this role, you’ll create meaningful learning experiences for infants and toddlers—supporting their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in a safe and loving environment.
Duties
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster curiosity, sensory exploration, and early skill-building.
- Provide responsive, high-quality care, including feeding, diapering, and guiding daily routines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom that encourages exploration and growth.
- Observe and document each child's developmental milestones, and communicate progress with families.
- Implement positive guidance and behavior management strategies that promote respect, empathy, and independence.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure consistency in curriculum and care across classrooms.
- Participate in professional development, training sessions, and team meetings to enhance teaching practices.
- Uphold all state licensing, health, and safety standards
Requirements
- Education: CDA, TCC, or a Degree in Early Childhood Education (required or in progress).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with infants or toddlers in an early learning or childcare setting.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Demonstrated understanding of child development principles and best practices for early education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a nurturing and patient approach.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position (lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, standing, etc.).
- Must successfully pass all background checks and health screenings.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience developing or adapting infant/toddler curriculum.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish, French, or other languages).
- Familiarity with state quality-rated programs or accreditation standards.
