We are seeking a part-time Physical Education (PE) Teacher to lead engaging, developmentally appropriate movement and fitness activities in an inclusive classroom setting for grades PK3-8th. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting diverse learners, including students with varying physical, cognitive, and sensory needs, and is committed to creating a positive, structured, and adaptive environment where all students can participate and succeed.
This role involves planning and delivering PE and Health Sciences lessons that build motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and overall physical wellness while incorporating modifications and supports to ensure accessibility for every student. The PE Teacher will foster a safe, encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence, social interaction, and lifelong healthy habits.
Candidates with experience in tumbling, gymnastics, soccer, or other team sports are strongly preferred, as these skills will support a dynamic and varied program. Collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff is essential to align activities with students’ individualized goals and needs.
