Summary
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing interdisciplinary team. This unique role spans both clinical and educational settings, working directly with students in a microschool environment as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in our clinic.
The ideal candidate is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice, excited about collaborative work, and experienced or highly interested in pediatric care, including autism .
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy to pediatric clients and students
- Implement neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based intervention practices
- Support AAC users and alternative communication systems as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support communication across environments
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and regulatory standards
- Support integration of communication goals within the microschool learning environment
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)
- 2-3 years experience in pediatrics
- Active Tennessee state licensure
