Nellie's Treehouse with two locations is seeking Infant Teachers in both its Amherst and it's expanding Milford program. Both facilities are NH Child Care State Licensed. With a mission to provide quality care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old we are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join out early childhood team. You will create nurturing and engaging developmentally appropriate environments for infants fostering growth in physical, social emotional, and cognitive domains.

Inspire young children to investigate and experience learning skills to support milestones.
Work collaboratively with coworkers, administration, and parents
Develop and implements age-appropriate curriculum plans.
Provide attentive care to daily activities, feeding, diapering and safety.
Engage children in interactive learning.
Manage classroom behaviors with positive reinforcement
Communicate with families about aspects of the child and their day.
Organize materials, lessons and ensure a clean safe environment.
Lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning
Strong knowledge of ECE principles
Experience working with children including special needs
Excellent communication skills
Positive classroom management skills
Ability to lesson plan
Familiar with state regulations and safety protocols
Flexibility
Good sense of humor
If working 37.5 hours or more weekly:
Up to 80 hrs paid time off annually

Nellie's Treehouse is a family-owned and operated child care/early learning center located on Route 101A in Amherst, NH. The program opened in 2000, serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years and has a licensed capacity of 69 students. Nellie's provides 5,000 square feet of indoor classroom spaces and sits on an acre of land.
The goal of the school is to ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times and to encourage successful social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth and development throughout the early years. We acknowledge the importance of authentic partnerships with families as they are their child's first teachers. We recognize each child as an individual and utilize developmentally appropriate, play based curriculum to promote independence and foster creativity.
The center is open from 6:00am to 7:00pm and has an open door policy. Infants and Ones are provided diapers, wipes, spring water and whole milk. Twos, Preschool, Pre-k and K are provided breakfast, lunches and 3 snacks.
