Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with toddlers and young children, fostering their development through play and structured activities while ensuring their well-being. Shift will roughly be 9am to 6pm Monday-Friday. We are willing to train anyone who wants to learn.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare setting.
• Follow SUTQ rules in infant classroom and other classrooms as needed.
• implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Manage classroom behavior using effective classroom management techniques.
• Provide first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support children with special needs or developmental challenges as required.
• Go into any classroom when needed.
• Cover for lead infant teacher

Requirements

Experience

• Previous experience working in a daycare or educational setting is preferred
• Familiarity with infant through school age care practices and early childhood education principles is preferred.
• Skills in first aid, classroom management, nannying, babysitting, or special education are highly valued.
• A passion for educating young minds and creating a positive learning environment is crucial for success in this role.
• CDA or degree in ECE or CPL 3 would be preferred, but not necessary.
