Summary

Are you looking for a great preschool that teaches and prepares students for kindergarten, while also remembering our children are only 4/5? LOOK no further. Little Sprout Preschool is a private academic preschool serving children in our community ages 3yrs - 6yrs old. We are looking for a strong candidate to teach our PreK room Monday-Friday from 8am - 3pm. Each of our classrooms hold 15 students with one teacher and a teacher assistant.

Our program is clean, fun, and we work for great families. SUMMERS OFF or hours are available during our summer camp.

Best of all, our lesson plans are completed for the school year with areas of flexibility so teachers can implement items they are passionate about. Using a supplemental approach when the teacher has time or a strong passion for something or just implement the lesson plan provided. We also have a reading specialist on sight to help with assessments, one on one tutoring, and she offers content that can be supplemented in the lesson plan as well.

Our program runs mostly with the PVUSD school district so you will have the same days off as your child if your child attends a PVUSD school.

Located at Rose Garden Lane and Cave Creek Rd, just north of the 101.

Duties

Teacher Duties include but not limited to:

• Implement daily lesson plans to its fullest.
• Keep the classroom clean and organized
• Required daily sanitizing of toys and materials as scheduled this can be directed to the TA in the room but ultimately it is the teacher's responsibility to ensure the task is completed.
• Decorate the room including bulletin boards to align with the monthly themes.
• Attend lead meetings
• Help all children successfully reach age-appropriate academic goals to be prepared for kindergarten.
• Providing direct attention to the children in your care

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certificates
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - must already have
• Driver's License
• High School Diploma
• Food Handlers Card - helpful but not required
• Knowledge of Brightwheel - helpful but not required
• Must be reliable to report to work everyday

• Spalding training
• Singapore Math concrete concepts for preschool knowledge
• ECE experience for PreKinder age students
