Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team and help finish out the remainder of the school year. This position is available immediately due to our current lead teacher stepping away for personal reasons.
The Lead Pre-K Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 4-5. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and passionate about early childhood education.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pre-K standards. The current lead teacher has completed lesson plans for the remainder of the year.
- Lead classroom instruction and manage daily routines.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress. The current lead teacher will complete assessment and narrative summaries before her departure.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Requirements
- Experience working with Pre-K or preschool-age children.
- 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education (Required)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Must meet all state licensing requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
