Ashland, VA center is expanding program to include Infants. We are looking for an experienced qualified Lead Teacher / possibly 2 co-teachers.
Plan and manage a classroom of no more than 6 infants. Maintain an organized, clean and nurturing environment. Children must be supervised at all times, maintaining state licensing standards. Nurturing, feeding, cleaning, changing children ages 3 months to 12+ months throughout the day. Outside time for children required as often as possible. Follow a state approved curriculum. Cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing of classroom, furniture and toys. Document all activities for each infant throughout the day. Professionally communicate with parents and respect parent preferences.
We would like a minimum of 2 years' experience in childcare, preferable in infant care. The applicant should have the ability to communicate with parents on a professional level.
