At It Takes a Village, we believe our youngest learners deserve consistency, compassion, and attentive care. We are looking for a nurturing and dependable Infant Teacher to join our team in a closing shift role.
The Infant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This role supports daily routines, ensures a calm end-of-day transition, and works closely with the team to maintain classroom flow and compliance.
Provide attentive, responsive care to infants
Follow feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules
Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment
Communicate effectively with team members and families
Assist with daily documentation and classroom routines
Support ratio compliance and assist with classroom transitions
Ensure all licensing and health/safety standards are met
6+ months experience in a licensed childcare facility
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with infants
Familiarity with Brightwheel or similar childcare apps
