Summary

We are seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment and support the growth and development of infants in our high-quality childcare center.

Duties

• Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants
• Follow daily schedules for feeding, diapering, and naps
• Support early developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
• Maintain proper supervision at all times
• Build strong, positive relationships with infants and families
• Track and communicate daily activities (feeding, diapers, sleep) to parents
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Follow all state licensing and health regulations
• Respond promptly to infants’ needs with patience and care
• Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a positive classroom environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required (CDA or higher preferred)
• Previous experience working with infants (childcare or daycare setting preferred)
• Knowledge of infant care, safety, and early childhood development
• Must pass background check and required state clearances
• Current CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants (up to 25–30 lbs)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, patient, and nurturing demeanor
