Summary
We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our childcare team. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities
- Supervise children at all times and maintain required staff-to-child ratios
- Foster positive behavior through guidance, encouragement, and redirection
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Complete daily documentation, incident reports, and lesson plans as required
- Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress and needs
- Follow all childcare licensing, safety, and health regulations
- Collaborate with coworkers and support a positive team environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance per state childcare regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Nice To Haves
- ECD 101 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education)
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience with lesson planning and classroom routines
