Early Childhood - DPI Certified Teacher in Stanley, WI

Summary

We are looking for a DPI Teacher to join our family-oriented center for our 12 week summer program. This is a summer only position.

The teacher is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the classroom, completing and implementing lesson plans age appropriate for 5-12 years, and playing with the children. The teacher should maintain effective communication on a daily basis with the parents to care for their child(ren). The teacher should be willing to make a difference in the lives of the children through the children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development and ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment for every child.

Requirements

• DPI Certification
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum for 5-12yrs of age.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities
• Complete & implement monthly lesson plans 
• Attend monthly staff meetings 
• Communicate with parents, coworkers, and children
• Changing Diapers & assisting with children's personal needs 
• Daily Cleaning (mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing toys, organizing)
• Follow a schedule 
• Maintain confidentiality at all times 
• Follow Firehouse Friends Childcare policies 
• Play with the children :)
