Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and caring individual to join our childcare team, working with school-age children in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key part of our program, you will play an essential role in creating a safe, engaging space where children can thrive. This position involves supervising a variety of recreational and educational activities, ensuring children are actively engaged and having fun. You will assist with homework to support their academic growth and help foster positive social skills by encouraging teamwork, empathy, and respectful interactions. Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in structured and free-play activities
• Assist with homework and provide support as needed
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
• Assist with closing the building at the end of the day
• Help with lunch breaks
• Transport children after school and on fieldtrips

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all DCYF requirements
• Valid Driver's License
• Passion for working with children
• Dependable

Nice To Haves

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in childcare or education is a plus but not required
