We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Eligibility Coordinator to manage and verify participant eligibility for our programs and services. This role ensures compliance with program guidelines and supervises staff involved in eligibility processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the review and processing of initial and redetermination applications for program participants
• Maintain accurate records and documentation by tracking All cases in SharePoint
• Communicate eligibility decisions and assist applicants with next steps when needed
• Supervise and train staff handling eligibility processing; monitor performance and provide feedback
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure timely processing
• Assist with appeal/complaint/State review and decisions
• Serve as point of contact for Cares 2.0/NJCCIS issues
• Maintain internal tracker for compliance deadlines
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in data entry and database management (CARES, SharePoint etc.)
• Knowledge of federal, state, or local assistance programs preferred
