Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in planning and implementing daily classroom activities (both teacher-initiated and child-initiated) geared to meet individual needs and interests of the children.
Support completion of required classroom paperwork (i.e., bleach logs, meal tallies and attendance).
Share in cleaning responsibilities with all of the team members.
Participate in all Family Engagement initiatives.
Take part in all center staff meetings & training as scheduled.
Maintain current CPR and First Aid Training as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or G.E.D and 9 credit hours of early childhood college coursework including 3 hours of child growth and development; be willing to pursue a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); an Associate's Degree in ECE (preferred).
