Per Diem Early Childhood - Floater Teacher ( Afternoon shifts)

Summary

We are seeking a versatile and energetic per diem floater teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is essential for maintaining a high quality learning environment by providing support across various classrooms ranging from infants to preschool. As a floater you will have the unique opportunity to work with different age groups, collaborate with various teachers, and ensure that every child receives the care and attention they deserve.

Duties

• Support classroom teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and managing classroom transitions.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, clean and nurturing environment to ensure the health and safety of the students.
• Engage in age appropriate play and creative activities to foster social and cognitive development.
• Have the flexibility to adapt to to various classroom routines as assigned throughout the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years of age
• Must be reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable kneeling, sitting on the floor and engaging in play both indoors and outdoors.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.

Nice To Haves

Shift 12:00 pm-6:00 pm

Flexible schedules

Could be a pathway to full time position in the future if additional staff are required.
