As a Behavior Therapist (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at CELECTS Education, you’ll work 1:1 with children to teach communication, social, and life skills using evidence-based ABA strategies. You’ll receive hands-on support from experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who provide ongoing training, feedback, and opportunities for growth.

• Implement client goals created by a BCBA in each child’s individualized treatment plan to focus on social skills, living skills and academic skills, using a 1:1 teaching format
• Complete data collection and session notes daily to track and show client progress.
• Communicate professionally with client families to provide updates regarding progress
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations
• Assist with creation of therapy materials
• Attend team meetings and on-going trainings, as necessary
• Other related duties as assigned or requested
• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, OR the ability to acquire certification within 45 days of hire date.(training provided)
• Prior experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies
• Must have the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable spending time on your feet
• Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills
