Duties

Key Responsibilities

• Engage showroom customers and convert traffic into sales
• Conduct needs assessments and recommend flooring/design solutions
• Sell products including carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, and area rugs
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales orders
• Follow up consistently to close deals and maintain relationships
• Coordinate projects from sale through installation
• Prospect for new business through networking and referrals
• Maintain showroom presentation and product knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Retail sales, in-home sales, or commission sales experience
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
• Reliable transportation for occasional in-home appointments

Preferred:

• Experience in flooring, home improvement, or interior design
• Knowledge of products like LVP, hardwood, tile, or carpet
• CRM or sales software experience
