About the Role

This is an inside sales + consultative design position focused on helping customers select the right flooring and home products for their space.

You’ll work both:

• In our showroom guiding customers through selections
• In the field/community (as needed) supporting in-home decisions and building relationships

Your role is to simplify the buying process and deliver a professional, high-confidence customer experience from first contact through project completion.

Duties

What You’ll Do

• Guide customers through flooring and design selections
• Identify needs and recommend solutions based on lifestyle and budget
• Create and manage quotes, orders, and project details
• Follow up consistently before, during, and after the sale
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain showroom presentation (clean, current, organized)
• Prospect and generate new business through networking and referrals
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working both in-store and out in the community
• Willingness to learn and complete product/design training

• Retail or commission-based sales experience
• Interest or background in interior design, remodeling, or home improvement
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office + willingness to learn internal systems)
• Reliable transportation for occasional in-home appointments
