Summary

Classroom Management: Establish a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that supports all areas of child development.

Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Assessment: Monitor student progress using observations and assessments; communicate regularly with families using the Brightwheel App

Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's success

Classroom Environment: Keep the classroom clean, organized, and well-equipped with age-appropriate materials; follow all safety protocols.

Behavioral Support: Foster social-emotional skills and address behavioral challenges positively and effectively.

Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical standards and mentor support staff as needed.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of preschool-aged children
• Provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment for children in your care
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior
• Educate children on basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, social skills and Jesus' love for each person
• Create a structured classroom setting that fosters learning and creativity
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children

Requirements

• Reliable, patient and a willingness to work as a team
• Trustworthy, kind, and respectful
• Pass fingerprint and background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience with children in a classroom setting (willing to train the right person)
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Prior classroom experience
