We are seeking a caring, reliable, and flexible Substitute Daycare Teacher to join our team and provide quality care and learning experiences for children ages 6 weeks and up. The substitute will fill in during staff absences, supporting classroom routines and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
-Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
-Follow established lesson plans or daily schedules provided by the lead teacher or director
-Assist with or lead age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
-Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
-Communicate effectively and professionally with children, staff, and parents
-Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health/safety procedures
-Provide support with meals, diapering, toileting, and other daily routines
-Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
-Report any incidents, concerns, or observations to the appropriate staff
-High school diploma or GED required
-Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred but not required
-CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
-Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
-Flexibility to work on short notice or varying shifts
-Experience working with children
-CPR certification
-Wisconsin Registry Certificate

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Dependability and punctuality
-This is an on-call position.
-Hours and days will vary based on staffing needs.
-No weekends
-No week nights
