Schedule:

  • Candidate must be able to work between 7am-5 pm
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Child Development College classes or course certificates

Experience:

  • Early childhood education: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
  • Food handlers card
  • Valid Level one Finger Print clearance card
  • High school diploma
  • CDA, or AA, or BA
  • Valid ID
  • 2 professional references

Work Location: In person

Salary: $15.00-19.00 per hour

Duties

Duties:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons for children following provided curriculum.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and progress of each child
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Incorporate math and physical education into daily activities and lessons.
  • Clean classroom areas during activities and after.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Preferred: have worked in Quality First licensed program.
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education with ages 2-5
  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to lead a group alone, with creativity and good classroom management.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Drug testing required.
