Duties
The Assistant Teacher assists in implementing a program of developmentally appropriate activities under the direct supervision of a Lead Teacher with whom s/he is assigned to work.
Work with all other staff members in a cooperative manner.
Communicate regularly with the supervising teacher and the Director.
Requirements
Must be a high school graduate
Experience: Have completed a minimum of one year experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
Must be physically able to kneel/sit on the floor, bend over, move quickly, be on your feet for 3 hours, and to lift young children who need assistance
A negative TB test and a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card are required.
Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Must have a kind, gentle, patient, and happy disposition, genuine love for children
