The Early Childhood Teacher will work as part of a cohesive teaching team. Must be able to create a positive learning environment, implement curriculum that meets the needs of individual children. This person must excel in developing a positive relationship with children and familes, and knowledgeable of Child Development and Teaching Strategies. Classroom size ratio is very low. Most important thing this person must have the passion and patience for working with young children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activites using the Creative Curriculum.
Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
Maintain personal and professional development plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Routine Care
Knowledge of Child Development.
Understanding of NC child care regulations.
Follow prepared lesson plans.
Maintain frequent communications with familes.
Follow all center policies, EHS, and state regulations.
At a minimum, high school diploma or willingness to work toward obtaining certification.
Experience working with young children
Ability to work as a team
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
Must clear full background check
Must have a current health assessment and TB

Pyhsical: ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and kneel, bend, squat, or crawl.
