Summary
We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to lead a classroom of 3-year-old children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early learning, understands child development, and creates a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence through play-based learning
- Maintain daily communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs
- Observe and assess children’s development and maintain accurate records
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Collaborate with staff and participate in team meetings and professional development
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, CDA, or Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (especially 3-year-olds)
- Knowledge of child development and early learning standards
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working specifically with 3-year-old children in a preschool or childcare setting
- Familiarity with curriculum models such as Creative Curriculum, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Experience with classroom technology or child assessment tools
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and classroom compliance standards
- Prior experience communicating with families from diverse backgrounds
- Training in social-emotional learning or behavior management strategies (e.g., Conscious Discipline, PBIS)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
