We are seeking a full-time Montessori teacher for our Primary classes in Allen.
We are hiring at our Allen school at 601 S. Fountain Gate Dr. Allen 75002.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement the curriculum. Establish a record-keeping system to track the children's progress. Facilitate a respectful environment for children and adults by advocating conflict resolution. Implement grace, courtesy, and character-building lessons. Attend all faculty meetings and scheduled staff events. Will need to pass a background check and fingerprinting and CPR/First Aid certification.
This position requires love, patience, and respect for children. The teacher will encourage the children to be independent and models appropriate manners and behaviors.
Requirements:
Previous experience with preschool children in a school setting. Proficient and fluent in English. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Work well with children, parents, and other staff members
Montessori certificate required, certificate in process okay.
Spanish a plus
Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's degree or Montessori Certificate
