Summary
Generations Montessori School of Charlottesville is seeking a nurturing and dependable Assistant Guide for our Primary Program, beginning Fall 2025. As we proudly enter our 10th year serving families in the Charlottesville area, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and eager to support our Montessori community.

Duties
Assist the lead teacher in managing the 3 to 6 year old students
Assist in ensuring the physical and emotional well being of the children
Complete at least 16 hours of professional development each year
Requirements
Experience working with preschool age children is preferred
Willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and a heart for preschool children
A team player who embraces calm, respectful interactions with child-led learning
Nice To Haves
Montessori experience
CPR/First Aid certification
MAT trained
