Wolfeboro Children's Center is hiring a Lifeguard/Assistant Group Leader in Wolfeboro, NH

Summary

Seeking someone who is lifeguard certified and enjoys outdoor activities such as , kayaking, biking, hiking, ect. to assist our Group Leader and summer program during field trips and beach days. Ages 5-12, 15-40 hrs a week , June - August.

Duties

  • Ability to remain alert and responsible
  • Able to communicate effectively with people and supervise activities in water areas
  • Foster a positive camp environment
  • Promote participation
  • Respond to incidents
  • Maintain a safe and enriching classroom environment for children when they are not in school.
  • Classroom cleaning and organizing
  • Follow State Licensing rules
  • Facilitate large and small group activities

Requirements

  • Lifeguard Certification
  • Strong swimming skills
  • First Aid/ CPR certification

    The Children's Center provides comprehensive childcare services to children 6 weeks to 12 years of age, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We have built an exceptional child care facility staffed by caring, highly-qualified, and accomplished individuals who put children first.
