Must be able to pass background check; follow rules, regulations and company procedures
The ideal candidate for this position must have one of the following valid and current certificates or credentials from a nationally or state recognized institution approved by Bright from the Start:
A valid paraprofessional certificate, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) or Technical College Diploma (TCD) in Early Childhood Education, an Associate degree, or a higher degree
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate or higher
CPR and 1st Aid Certifications (or willingness to obtain these)
Must maintain state in-service training requirements and GA Pre-K Training requirements
Positive and cheerful
Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous
People- Oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects

Duties
Responsibilities
The GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for general classroom management and supervision
Responsible for the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children and will help maintain classroom records, cleanliness , and orderliness
Notifying Director or parents about potential issues
Requirements
Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
21 years of age or older.
Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
