Summary
Peachem Children's Acaddemy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team and provide high-quality care and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, experience in an early childhood setting, and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children’s development, behavior, and needs, and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Encourage and support children in their social interactions, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Work closely with other educators and staff to ensure a collaborative, supportive environment for children.
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies regarding health, safety, and behavior management.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
Duties

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
- Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
