Early Childhood Teacher Assistant

• Must have a warm and friendly personality and be able to work alongside other staff members. Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Kidzspace philosophy.
• A commitment to teaching, lesson planning or imputing ideas for lesson plans.
• Able to work 730 am - 330 or 430pm. w/an hour break.
• First Aid and CPR certified or willing to obtain.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Obtain a current TB Test

Duties

Will include but not limited to:

• Assist the teacher in implementing and sometimes planning activities.
• Helping the children with their daily needs as well as helping them learn to solve problems independently.
• Supervising the children
• Help serve meals.
• Clean daycare area and sanitize toys and materials.
• Maintain confidentiality with each child and family
• No smoking during work hours or on breaks; save it for after work (we like to have a no smoke smell environment)

Requirements

• Able to work 730am-330 or 430pm.
• Have a current Infant and Children First Aid and CPR/ willing to obtain.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent to
• Obtain a current TB Test
• Maintain a neat appearance
