Looking for a fun, experienced, upbeat individual to be a part of our small classroom every morning Monday-Friday, 8:45-11:45am. You will be working directly with myself, in very hands on ways with a group of 12 children ranging in age from 18 months- 3 years old. Hours can extent to 12:45 on select days if interested. This is a year round program with multiple weeks off throughout the summer, as well as all Fairfax County days off.
greeting children and helping get everyone settled
keeping children safe and happy, comforting when needed and maintaining classroom control
assisting with diapers and toilet training
keeping classroom clean
being hands on with all activities
maintaining a fun learning space
background check
CPR/first aid certification
TB test
high school diploma or above
experience with toddlers either as a parent or preferably in classroom
honest, reliable, and upbeat
experience in classroom with toddlers
experience creating lesson plans/ implementing activities
ability to engage children without guidance from myself
