Summary
We are looking for a responsible van driver to transport our school age children to and from their elementary schools in the morning & afternoon, as well as working with the school agers after school and on breaks when public schools are closed. The hours are between 12:00-6:30pm. If you have any further questions please give us a call at 407 889 3026.
Duties
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport to schools, field trips, and other locations as approved by the Center Director
- Comply with Apopka Child Academy and all governmental regulations regarding the care of children
- Keep Administration informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of children
- Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed
- Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil change, state inspections, etc.), as needed
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings, as request
- Create/implement activites for school age children
Requirements
- Background check if approved
- Complete transportation course on ELC website
- Complete first aid & cpr and bloodborne pathogens
- Fire extinguisher training
- Review van sign in/out log and attendance
- Turn off the van/and alarm system
