Early Childhood Part Time Teacher

Summary

Looking for part time employees who would like to work with school age children ages 6-12 in our after school program. M-F 12:30-6 or 2:30-6. Willing to work around college student schedules.

Duties

• Create structured, but fun themed based lesson plans & activities for children ages 6-12
• Supervise indoor/outdoor play activities
• Serve & supervise afternoon snack
• Create a safe, sanitary classroom for the children
• Communicate effectively with students & families
• Assist with cleaning and closing procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Background check required
• Physical
• Ability to pass on line training courses required by DHS

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid
• Experience in Early Education or working with children at church or summer camps
