We are looking to hire an attentive cleaner to our afternoon team at Chapel Children's Center. In this position you will be required to wipe down surfaces, vacuum, and mop floors. The cleaner needs to be able to complete the task of doing loads of laundry (washer/dryer/fold), This position also requires the end of day kitchen cleaning to include food handling, emptying/loading a dishwasher, and hand wash dishes.
To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete the assigned tasks within the 3 hours allotted time of 2:30pm - 5:30pm. Ultimately, the cleaner should be in good physical health and able to perform with minimal supervision.
CLEANER RESPONSIBILITES:
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types;
Wiping down counter tops, eating surfaces, loose furniture, and appliances;
Sanitizing eating surfaces, sinks and kitchen fixtures
Emptying trash cans - walking trash
High school diploma for equivalent is advantageous;
Proven experience in similar role;
Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment;
Able to stand for extended periods of time;
Ability to lift 45 pounds
Excellent organizational skills;
Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision;
Able to work afternoons between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm
Must be able to pass a background check through DCYF
Washington State Food Handler Card
CPR/First Aid certified
paid holidays after completion of 6 months probationary period
