Summary

Renewal Unlimited is seeking an organized leader to mentor and supervise a team of Head Start and Early Head Start teaching staff and educators in Baraboo, WI. This team-oriented individual works full-time, Monday through Friday, year-round.

Duties

• Mentors, trains and supervises Head Start and Early Head Start staff to ensure high quality services for children age 0-5 years old
• Subs for teachers in classrooms as needed
• Works under the direction of the Education Manager to assist in carrying out goals, policies and activities designed to implement education and literacy objectives along with performance standards and agency policies
• Assists with recruitment of children and families to our program
• Routinely inspects center facilities for state licensing requirements and takes corrective action
• Wage range based on education and experience: $42,123 to $46, 507 annually. Currently, the Early Childhood Supervisor position is eligible for monthly incentive payments into January 2024, which is up to $250 additional per month.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in Early Childhood Education. Consideration would be provided to those with other teaching backgrounds, children and family experience, supervisory roles, or similar roles. Candidate should be willing to obtain in a reasonable amount of time a Wisconsin teaching license. Substitute or provisional licenses would be considered.
