Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic Infant/Waddler Teacher to join our Junior Academy team! You will be managing the classroom with planning and implementing both whole classroom and small group instruction. 


You are passionate about learning and love working with children. With strong creative, organizational skills and leadership skills, you are able to connect with individual students and develop strong relationships with faculty to create an engaging learning environment. 


 

Duties


  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn
  • Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
  • Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
  • Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education

 

Requirements


  • Associates degree or credits toward early childhood education
  • Ability to pass a state and federal background check 
  • A year of previous experience caring for infants preferred 
  • High-energy with a love of working with children
  • Organized and detail-oriented
