SHADES of Development after school program is looking for dependable, energetic, caring individuals with experience working with children in a group setting. Leading STEM and Creative arts activities. Positions with K-5th hours 2:00-6:00. PreK hours 12:30-6:00
Candidates must be 21 years or older to work with PreK, 18 years of older for elementary school, and a high school graduate. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test and physical.
This is a great fit for college students with morning classes looking to gain more experience working with children.
We offer after school at ten locations in Knox County and are hiring for all locations.
Pay is $15.00-19.00 based on experience and education.

The goal of an OST (Out of School Time) Specialist is to provide a safe and fun environment that allows children to explore,
experiment, and challenge their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. OST Specialist are adults that build caring,
trusting, and mutually respectful relationships with children through sharing knowledge, actively listening, modeling appropriate
behavior, setting limits, and consistently enforcing limits.
