Early Childhood - Center Assistant Supervisor

Summary

The Childcare Center Supervisor is responsible for working alone side with the FSA in ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center’s care, supervise the staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered, and that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately.

Duties

Supervise the staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.

• Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Help assist with center tours with Family Support Advocate.
• Assistant to Chief HR Officer
• Supervise and complete inventory list for cleaning supplies

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
• High energy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.

About Us

Our services are tailored to meet the needs of children and their families. We begin our programming for children as young as 6 weeks old and continue until their 13th birthday. Our hours of operation are quite accommodating. Some centers open at 5:30am or 6:00am until 6pm. Our employees are also educated to handle emergency situations. All of them hold certifications in both first aid and CPR.
