Summary

We're looking for child-affirming, team-working, story-telling, block-building, parent-partnering teachers.

Teachers guide children day to day through their learning environment. You will have the opportunity to be creative, forming engaging lesson plans for children who will absolutely adore you! Duties

• Effectively communicate with staff and parents
• Set educational and developmental goals for the children in your group, both as a group and individually
• Plan & carry out appropriate daily curriculum and long term projects to further support those goals
• Collaborating with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
• Managing day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students

Requirements

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 Year experience working with children
• Ability to pass a standard background check & fingerprinting
• Willingness to learn & grow
• Ability to work well with others
• Problem solving, creativity, excellent multitasking skills, and ability to thrive when given instructions
• Commitment to equity, inclusion and a diverse community
